We know this kind of stuff is is a pain but we could actually make a difference if we all message the people in power and that would be amazing. Please do what you have the time for and share!
The restaurant industry in Massachusetts is dying because of COVID-19. A bill that would allow bars to sell to-go cocktails passed the House, 156-0, on June 3, but is now tied up in the Senate. This could really help a lot of people but it seems that it is being blocked by the Massachusetts Package Store Association. Governor Charlie Baker said on Friday that he supports that measure, but it hasn’t arrived on his desk yet.
If you have the time could you please call and email these legislators? You can cut and paste the statement below if you wish.

Subject House Bill H4774
Hello Senator,
Do you know when House Bill 4774 will reach the Senate floor for a vote?
This bill would save many bars and restaurants from closing, giving them a much needed additional and temporary revenue stream. It would help restaurants pay their lease and servers and bartenders pay their rent. It would get workers off of unemployment. Please bring it for a vote and help save so many people and their industry.
Sincerely,
